Rosneft Slop Oil

Delivery: September 2011 Customer: Alfa Laval Copenhagen / Rostneft Refinery TuapseThe delivery consists of a polymer preparation unit type PolyRex 2,0 for ATEX Zone 2, GAS group IIB T3.

It is a complete preparation equipment for both polymer powder and liquid polymer including dosing

pump and separate vacuum conveyor.

Tanks and piping are made of AISI316L and the frame is made of AISI304.

Rostneft’s Tuapse refinery is located on the eastern coast of the Black Sea and specializes in producing motor

fuels. When crude oil is refined, slop oil is produced, which is low-quality residual oil that needs to be purified. This purification process includes Tomal’s polymer preparer.
