Tomal - Technology for a sustainable future
At Tomal, we are working towards a cleaner and more sustainable world. Our products and solutions help clean water, reduce emissions and make the transition to renewable energy more efficient.
With over 70 years of experience, we develop advanced dosing technologies for environmental benefits – from purifying drinking water from micropollutants like PFAS to supporting the transition from oil and gas to biofuels.
We are experts in customized dosing systems for demanding applications in the water treatment, pulp and paper, energy and waste sectors, among others.
Our robust multi-screw feeders and polymer feeders are known for their reliability, accuracy and ability to handle difficult materials that tend to wallow in silos.
Environmental considerations are not just part of our products – they are a natural part of our entire business. Tomal is certified according to ISO 14001 and we work actively to reduce our own climate impact and contribute to circular and resource-efficient solutions for our customers.
Our dedicated and experienced employees are at the heart of Tomal's success

We also see long-term skills supply and training as key to both our own and the industry’s future.
That’s why we actively cooperate with schools and education providers in the region.
Tomal has long been a member of Teknikcollege, and our CEO Linda Kallenberger is currently regional chairman of the steering group for Teknikcollege Halland – a work we are proud of and which we see as an important investment in both young people and the competitiveness of Swedish industry.
TOMAL was founded in the early 1950s by innovator Tomal Alwerud, who laid the foundation for our technological direction with the development of the unique twin-screw feeder – a solution that is still at the heart of our multi-screw feeders today.
Over the years, the company has grown through technology development and close customer partnerships. Since 2009, Tomal has been a wholly owned subsidiary of ProMinent GmbH – a global leader in water treatment based in Heidelberg, Germany. Together we combine local expertise with international strength.

From our headquarters and production in Vessigebro, Halland, we deliver turnkey dosing plants to customers all over the world.
Last, but not least, it is our dedicated and experienced employees who are at the heart of Tomal’s success – today and in the future.
Tomal – Environmental Technology in Focus.
